Head Instructor

Pat started his Martial Arts journey in 2007 where he began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Jamal Patterson and Alan Teo. Not only did they both receive their Black Belts from Renzo Gracie, both are highly respected members of the Martial Arts community as have thriving and ever evolving schools of their own. From there Pat took his training to a competitive level where he would compete in grappling tournaments and MMA. He received his Black Belt from Jamal in 2017 and is still training today.


Assistant Coach

Brandon started Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai in 2005. While training at several Martial Arts schools and clubs, he was also a student and personal trainer for Rutgers University. He earned his BJJ Blue and Purple Belts From Brian Katz, a Kurt Pelegrino Black Belt and owner of Advanced Martial Arts.  He then went on to earn his Brown Belt from Pat Mulligan and is currently the assistant coach at All Star MMA of Warren.



Where the Passion Begins



Renzo Gracie is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. A member of the Gracie family of Brazil, Renzo is a 6th Degree Black in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlos Gracie Jr..Renzo has tremendously helped pathed the way for Mixed Martial Arts and the athletes who compete in all types and levels. He is a great leader, teacher, and role model for the sport and the competitors he has helped along the way and others who are to come.



Jamal Patterson is a 3nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Renzo Gracie and a graduate from Colgate University. He has been teaching for over 10 years and is one of the few people in the world that has this unique experience and knowledge.He’s trained with UFC champions Frankie Edgar and George St. Pierre Chris Weidman, veterans Ricardo Almeida, Gian Vallante, Nick Catone and David Branch, and world champions Braulio Estima, Matt Serra and Roger Gracie.
