Brandon Roa

Instructor

Brandon started his martial art journey in 2004 with jiu jitsu, wrestling, and muay thai kickboxing. He was a regular jiu jitsu competitor while in high school and college.


While completing his degree at Rutgers University, he managed a gym and was a personal trainer for the university. After taking a break from training to continue schooling, he returned to regular training in 2015 to eventually earn his jiu jitsu black belt from Pat Mulligan and Jamal Patterson in 2019. He has been training and teaching at AllStar Mixed Martial Arts since 2017. In 2021 Brandon earned his judo brown belt under Olympian Nicolas Yonezuka and is still an active competitor.
